Escape rooms are the new thing. Or at least new too me. A physical adventure game where you work as a team to solve puzzles with clues and hints provided to complete the tasks and ultimately escape the room. They are becoming more popular and there are more of them including one in my hometown. So I got together a group of friends and we set to work.
We decided to do one of the rooms at ConTRAPtions in Fort Collins because the story line sounded fun.
“Mafia Gallery- Kidnapped by the mob and trapped in a hangout with a deadly timer! This room is "an offer you can't refuse".... do you have what it takes to survive? Come find out!”
Let me tell you it really was. The clues, tests and some really simple tasks that are made even more difficult by the stress of a count down. We escaped with 11 seconds to spare.
