Keeping like things together I had the opportunity to have two new experiences. To attend a NHL game and a Broadway play.
Avs Game 11/28/18
I’m not much of a sports person but this was on every list for 30 or 25. I didn’t want to limit myself and I truly enjoy hockey. So I worked out a plan with a good friend and we went to an Avs game together.
Steve and I got nosebleed tickets to the Avs Penguins game. The Price was right. Besides a win we also got to see our friend Gina. Over all a great event for our 30 to 30 experience.
Broadway 11/20/18
So I think this is more of an off, off Broadway. But I saw Phantom when I was a kid and fell asleep. Initially I got these tickets in case I couldn’t get to Cirque du Solie. Hotel had great recommendations and a day show ment it was a great price. It sounded interesting and let me tell you I had a blast. I ended up once seat off dead center roughly midway up the first section. I had short people in front of me and I even moved over a seat so I wasn’t on top of the couple next to me. The rest of the row was empty.
There was a teacher behind me who was so wonderfully enthralled with the show she didn’t notice her students whispers. It was actually more fun with her gasps and awes then anything. Hotel was awesome and though I didn’t truly understand the story each character was fun and I was so amazed by the circus stunts. I have a new fondness for Chinese Poles.
